PARASHARS™ PROPRIETARY FRAMEWORK

PEIOS™

Parashars Enterprise Intelligence & Operating System

A practical framework for connecting People, Environment, Information, Operations and Strategy — so that workplace and operational decisions can be made with better context, evidence and structure.

THE FRAMEWORK

The Organisation Is a Connected Intelligence System

Organisations often manage people, workplace, information, operations and strategy through separate functions. The result can be locally efficient decisions that do not produce the best overall outcome. A transport change may affect attendance and safety. A space decision may affect experience and cost. A technology decision may change data quality and operating processes. PEIOS encourages the decision-maker to examine these connections rather than treating each issue as an isolated task.

P

People

People are the users, operators, leaders and stakeholders of the system.

  • Capability & experience
  • Behaviour & accountability
  • Workforce patterns
  • Communication & stakeholder expectations
E

Environment

The physical workplace, infrastructure, resources and conditions in which work is performed.

  • Space & infrastructure
  • Sustainability & physical conditions
  • Business continuity requirements
  • Resources & equipment
I

Information

Information connects observation to decision.

  • Data quality & accessibility
  • Reporting & context
  • Knowledge governance
  • Insight & interpretation
O

Operations

Operations convert intent into execution.

  • Processes & service delivery
  • Controls & suppliers
  • Maintenance & continuity
  • Performance management
S

Strategy

Strategy defines why the system exists and where it is going.

  • Objectives & priorities
  • Investment & risk appetite
  • Governance & accountability
  • Measurable outcomes
CONNECT THE SYSTEM

The Central Proposition

Business performance improves when People, Environment, Information, Operations and Strategy are connected rather than managed in isolation.

“Understand the system. Define the problem. Examine the evidence. Structure the decision. Measure the outcome.”
— Parashars Editorial Principle
HOW TO USE PEIOS

A Thinking Framework, Not a Scoring Standard

PEIOS is a practical decision-support framework. Organisations should adapt it to their own context, evidence and governance requirements. It does not replace professional, legal, regulatory or technical advice.

1
Define the decision or problem

What are you actually trying to solve? Be specific about the decision that needs to be made.

2
Map the five PEIOS dimensions

For each of People, Environment, Information, Operations and Strategy — what is the current state? What matters most for this decision?

3
Identify evidence and gaps

What data exists? What is assumed? Where are the gaps that could change the conclusion?

4
Surface dependencies and trade-offs

Which dimensions interact? What changes in one area affect another? What is the cost of each option?

5
Define measurable outcomes

How will you know if the decision worked? What will you measure and when?

6
Pilot or implement with clear ownership

Assign accountability. Define the scope. Set a review date before proceeding.

7
Review results and update the model

Compare actual versus intended outcomes. Document what you learned for the next decision.

Five questions before any major workplace decision:
P — Who is affected?   E — What physical conditions matter?   I — What evidence exists?   O — What changes in execution?   S — What outcome are we trying to achieve?
FREE SELF-ASSESSMENT

PEIOS™ Maturity Self-Assessment

40 questions across 5 dimensions. Rate each statement 1–5.

1 = Ad hoc  •  2 = Developing  •  3 = Defined  •  4 = Managed  •  5 = Intelligent
This is a self-assessment indicator based on your responses — not a certification, external benchmark or comparison with other organisations.

P — People

E — Environment

I — Information

O — Operations

S — Strategy
